On National League TV from 0715 KO 0730 UK time. Need to sign in. I did it through the Offal and then into NL website. Quite easy, must be i did it.
JKA starting up front with trialist turned new fulham player Sani
1-0 down at half time, the pitch looks patchy and that would sum up the performance so far, a couple of times a pass was on and we shot, at the back a few slack moments have given the opposition a half chance. The ref seems to be oblivious to lots of shirt pulling and when a Fulham player was thrown to the floor it was our player who was spoken to (ok he did shove their player) but their player seemed not to be spoken to despite the ref gesturing that the player came to him.JKA not doing much to catch the eye so far.
1 1 JKA just banged one in from 20 yards
2 1 down 10 to go, miss control in our own area shot the blasted in from the edge of the box.
the ref gets worse it looked like Zepa was brought down in the box but nothing given.

Hard to believe that wasn't a penalty.
Ref was very bad.
Jka looked great 2nd half, odd to take him off.
Agree with Jim on all 3 points. JKA's footwork at times was mesmerising. He reminds me of Berbatov, languid style, looks disinterested some of the time and then produces something totally outlandish. Very frustrating but does work hard. The ref was a real homer. Lots of replays except our penalty claim.
Agreed about JKA too. Wasn't sure why, but he looked angry and up for it after half time, he was a clear cut above all others on display.
Pitch was worse than many park pitches which didn't really help how we tried to play.

Agreed Jim he looked miles better in the 2nd half, 1st half he didn't control a single ball played into his feet, admittedly every such ball was played to him by the keeper and he was under pressure from a defender most of those passes put him under pressure, 2nd half with the ball at his feet and facing goal he looked a different prospect.
The pitch on the side of the TV camera did look poor not
sure if the far side was as bad, but why continue to put ourselves under pressure playing out in those areas?

I guess it was a coaching thing, that's how we play regardless. But it definitely affected us.
On the whole thought we looked decent, lacked the physicality of the opposition which is to be expected.
I saw too that Ali Waheed scored one and set another up for Boreham Wood v Newcastle.

Agreed, it is the way we play, however the difference to me last week we play at Newcastle, a ball is played into Zepa he gets a touch spins and is away, yesterday he may have a couple of touches to get the ball under control by which time the defender has hold of his arm and shirt (lost count of how many times that happened) and we have lost the ball.
This isn't a different at Zepa just how the pitch seemed to be an issue for us.
