Enjoyed that Fog. Thanks. Whatever happened to the kid who scored the first goal? I didn't pick up the footy bug until early 2007.
BTW: The jersey's that the Mexican team was wearing looked like it would have been better on a jockey rather than a footballer. :011:

Jack,
Josh Wolf and Clint Mathis (the passer) were college buddies. Both had run outs in Germany and ended up in MLS. Clint was a party boy who basicly squanded his talent. Wolf was fast buy really lacked a finishers touch.
That night in Columbus was one of the best nights of football ever. I was really worried when our two best players (Reyna & McBride went off). We had beaten them before but had never dominated them. That was the first time the Mexicants couldn't claim luck or refering. The next day on the game boards at Big Soccer you never heard such whining. It was wonderful.
Check out http://sams-army.com/ (http://sams-army.com/) That's the bunch of folks standing behind one of the goals all dressed in red whenever the US plays.
Oh, and Brad Fredel had hair and McGod had heart (pre-Fulham).
