Ajax and Spartak Moskva have had a fee agreed in principle (4m) 10 days ago. Player was signed by Jolly Jol and lost his undisputed first team place under De Boer.
It now depends on De Zeeuw to agree on the deal.
I think we should make a cheeky late bid, he could be a very good replacement for Smurf with loads of experience.

I think he could be massive for us, really like his style of play.
His name means Zealander after which our friends in NZ were named. If he comes to Fulham perhaps we should call him Kiwi
Like Mounir El Hamdaoui, he played with Dembele in the AZ team that won the Dutch championship. Two acquire the job lot of them might get a bit cliquey, what with a Dutch manager and all, but agree there's a case to be made for all three of them individually.
He is a good football player. It wouldn't be a bad idea to sign him :)
