Title: Has the playing field become more level in the Prem?
Post by: cebu on July 15, 2011, 08:03:59 PM
It may be the case according to this:

Now smaller clubs can actually use their 25-man squad without being punished.

That is if you just use the players listed and do not retort to the U21's who doesn't need to be listed in the first place.

You can still get fined for that

Generally i think the standard of all the premiership clubs has gone up. The Top Four can be and are beaten a few times each season.

I can't see the point of naming a 25 man squad if you're going to get fined if you make too many changes..

Looking at our squad, a couple more decent signings and i think we'll have the strongest squad we've had since we've been in the Premiership.

Im so glad Jol is playing the youngsters in the Europa games..  they will all gain so much from the experience.
