Half time at Carrow Road, and Norwich lead Sunderland 1-0, Leon Barnett.
I don't think this will be the longest thread of the day... :dft011:
mmm it might be...
or might not..
depends..
I'm watching Burt :dft003:
Knew Lambert would do a good job there, they have quite impressed me.
Whatever is Larsen and Bentner doing with Sunderland?
Doesn't watching Bramble make you appreciate Haggers so much more?
Paul Lambert is a great manager. Norwich have a much worse squad than Norwich on paper, however they gel so much better and it's clearly Lambert knows his teams strengths more than Bruce knows his.
2 up now, Steve Morison.

Agree Mr Fernhurst sir. He went on walkabouts for the first Norwich goal.
Anyone else think Steve Morrisson would have been a good cheap back up for Bobby ? Hopefully Orlando Sa will do the job but but Morrisson is a willing runner and has just scored.
Matt...I'll let you spot your deliberate mistake.
Agreed on comments re Lambert

Agree - honest, hard working. Typifies the Norwich squad actually, and they have a canny manager in Lambert.
Richardson has pulled one back for Sunderland... Too little too late, methinks.

Pretty sure we tried to sign him but we didnt want to spend too much on him. Then Norwich came along and bought him for a little bit more than we offered.
Strangely, when Morison was being mooted on this site, I think 95% of those who commented agreed that he wasn't good enough and didn't have the right attitude.

That's the fact, Jack.
[I've been wanting to do that for months!]

I think it was more the thought of £5M on a 27/28 year old who was unproven and was playing non lge a couple of years ago. Also as it was in Jan he was being spoken about a lot of the faith people in Hughes had gone following the results up to boxing day and didn't really trust him on that one.
Scoring one goal does not make you a good player.
Wont be in the prem after next season imo.
