Man Utd target Rasmus Elm could already be running around for Everton

Manchester United target Rasmus Elm could already be a Premier League star.

The young AZ Alkmaar midfielder is being linked with a £13 million move to United.

In 2009, Elm actually was given a tour of Everton's facilities, while Roy Hodgson wanted to sign him for Fulham as a replacement for Jimmy Bullard.

But in the end he ended up at AZ, where he has been lighting up the Dutch league this season.

I remember being linked with him back then.

He was a quality player then and has only improved. Shame we didn't manage to get him - although would be playing for one of the top boys by now if we had.

The only one in the Swedish national team who can actually becom a great player.

It's too bad Ramus is out of our reach as he's a tailor made to be Murphy's replacement. However I would be very surprised if he joined a club as big as United or Arsenal.
