Title: Hats Off To Kit, Billy & Ray
Post by: White Noise on May 04, 2012, 09:59:33 AM
Looks like 3 of our coaches will be involved with the coaching set ups of home nations. This has got to be a good sign about what is going on at the club? Now who do we have who the Scots might want?

James Andrew‏@JamesAndrew_

Looks like Mike Kelly will join Roy Hodgson's England backroom team. A role he did between 1984-1990 under Bobby Robson.

It's a good sign but also a good learning curve for our staff. A bit of international experience can only help their duties around Motspur. It could also enhance the clubs reputation amongst players. For example, if a ManUre squad player is approached by Fulham, he'll ask Rooney, Ferdinand for advice. Their reply would hopefully be, "yeah, great set up, good coaches, go there and sign".  purely speculative but it could work on any scale, not just England.
As long as it doesn't become a burden on the staff it's got to be s positive.
