Title: NFR Wembley sold out for game against Belgies
Post by: sipwell on May 10, 2012, 09:50:14 PM
That's right, 90000 tickets sold to see (well: admire) those crazy critters from across the Channel. Apparently we will play in a typical Belgian costume and some might even do our special Sun Dance before the game. Any Board Member (capital letters) attending that game? Hope it will launch you guys to the euro final (they say that a loss before the tournament gets everyone wide awake).

That'll be 50000 just going along to boo Hodgson cos the Sun tells them to.

I've mentioned before, despite having gold Englandfans+ membership I won't go to Wembley because of the mongs that boo and I won't go away anymore since Rooney questioned our loyalty in S Africa.
All in all a waste of money but it runs out after the euros (no I won't renew lol).

That said, I will watch on telly as Belgium have a lot of good players and I'm looking forward seeing them.
Is that June 2nd?
I'm taking our U11s down to Brean Sands for a footy festival that weekend.

losing before the Euros is important. It keeps players sharp and they know they will have to "man up".

How ironic.

Here I am, sitting in Brussels, the capital of Europe, reading a thread on Belgium playing at Wembley, the capital of...erm...Wembley.

The trouble is that England may be better at losing to Belgium than they are at manning up for the Euro's.   092.gif
