after what this side has achieved this year i only hope it was the tourists and not our hard core support in the Hammy end. Yes Murphs passing was off, Demps looked out of sorts, Elm looked totally lost, but for sheer effort put in i cannot believe that they deserved booing, it,s back to the bad old days. Show some respect, although i must say it was only a minority, but it was vocal as the ground was silent.
I thought they were booing Mark Clattenberg!
We were booing the ref. Our 1st half performance was terrible though.
I don't advocate booing the team but think the fans have every right too.
Yeah, I thought everyone was booing Clattenberg too. I can only assume that he wants West Ham to stay up after his performance today
100% the booing was for clottenberg
Your not fit to referee was sung loudly by the Hammy End and then the Haynes
If it was Battenburg then I apologise but i am in H6 and it seemed to be at the team, Roy obviously thought so to. Clattenburg and Webb used to be good refs but now seem to have Graham poll syndrome and think they are the stars. Cannot comment on the pen claims until i have seen them on TV tonight but seemed good from where i was sitting and i thought Okaka won the ball not a booking.

+1, why in the hell would you boo our team with all the success we have had and a huge win over Wolfsburg this past Thursday. That's why two play two halves. I never boo my teams!
Well, you guys may have been booing Clattenburg, but Roy certainly thought you were booing the boys. He cited the booing and the "wake up" calls in his post-match interview -- went on about it actually. He said basically what bobby01 said about the fans needing to recognize what the squad has achieved and how a bad half or a bad match is always on the cards when a club is this exhausted this late in the season.
I was running out to mind the BBQ during half time and fast-forwarded through half time, so I wasn't aware of anything.

Send some of those legs to San Diego Don! You live in Texas right or am I thinking of someone else?
To be honest i'm not adverse to the odd boo if we are playing crap, but under the present circumstances it would be very harsh booing the lads after all the plesure they have gave us this season. Also when i'm on form i wont stop singing , but would be very hard pushed to match a certain tall bald mod fella. After the Juve game i couldn't speak proper for two days, and i'm sure i'll be the same after the Bosche thursday.
The only thing that the fans around me in H6 were Booing was Clattenburg, not just for the Penalty shouts but also because of his dodgy Hair Weave!! :dft012:
Bobby is correct the feckers in the front of K & H in the Johnny Haynes were at it again ( it does not take much ) .... Roy gave them a real dirty look going in and coming out at half time
they should return the Enclosure to a standing area again .................and have age restrictions around 25
It is great when we have the Europa games at home the gimps are turfed out for the visitors .......... they cannot be seen by the team when they are in the Putney :011:

Sorry jimpay I do not agree, I have never and will never boo a player in a Fulham shirt
Sorry, but you can't keep saying it was the Ref that was being boo'ed and therefore Roy was wrong -
Roy has stated that it was shouts made at certain players from those behind him!
What Raver said !!
I would not boo at the middle or the end of a game ...........just in case our players thought it was directed at them ..
I gave some lee - way to the boo -boys ( not boys, old farts more like ) at the end on the Sanchez debarcle.
But there is no place for it now, this is the best of times.
Roy is not a fool he knows what he heard

I can understand Roy mistakenly associating the cat calls with the booing, but the booing started before the 1/2 time whistle went and was for some of Clattenbergs decisions.
Mentioning those decisions, unfortunately, after reviewing the replays a couple of times, the ref was actually correct!! I hate to say it on this MB, but all the names I called Mark during the game (as well as defaming his parents) were wrong and uncalled for. Oh, hindsight is such a wonderful tool to have, pity I couldn't have it sooner though.
Agree with Logicalman concerning Clattenberg, I was'nt best pleased with him but he was right and you have congratulate him on that and just goes to prove what a hard job being the Ref is. KCat I hope you are not including all Old Farts in that statement, because I have never and never would boo my team.
In the olden days Clattertwat would indeed be right. Sadly there is a rule on tackling that referees tend to stick to. Players were sent off this week for tackling from the side like Bramble on Dempsey and touching the ball first. If the tackle takes down the player after touching the ball it is a foul and as I have said a booking or sending off from some refs this week. Like off sides and hand ball the rule is no longer clear. But the rule of the refs was that Dempsey was fouled and it was a penalty. Commentators should learn these new rules. Hand ball, off sides and tackling from the side and behind are frowned upon and the rules changed.
A penalty for Dempsey if he had been an Arsenal player and Bramble sent off if he had been playing for Wolves.

Don, I didn't think the quake was that big a deal.
