Title: Twitter questions
Post by: leonffc on July 27, 2012, 04:28:37 PM
Firstly, well done to dduece today on his QPR baiting and getting a reply from Tony Fernandez.
I'm new to it myself so;
What does 'favouriting' a tweet mean?
Do you have to be following someone or visa versa to be able to tweet them?
And what's the difference between replying and quoting a tweet?

Thanks in advance

When you favourite a tweet, it becomes stored so when you click on your profile, go to favourites and you can see a list of all your favourite tweets.

You can follow anyone unless they have placed restrictions on their profile. You don't have to follow them to tweet them though.

Replying is just you responding to what they said where as quoting is just repeating what they said but people often add to that tweet unless it exceeds 140 characters.

hope that helped.

Tony Fernandes practically discusses his transfer plans on his twitter page- saying we dont want to sell this player, even confirmed interest first, and generally lets everything ie park ji sung out of the bag first.

So I tweeted Adding to QPR's unprofessional way of doing buisness, @tonyfernandes discuss transfer plans on twitter. classy.

He RTed me and about 20-30 bitter QPR fans tried to abuse me, most of who said I was jealous and that QPR were better/ insert your own stupid QPR fact here.
