The Potters said on Wednesday that the 25-year-old was at the club's Clayton Wood training ground to undergo a medical before completing his move.
Stoke buying a player who's primary attribute is passing mmmm. I suppose he is big enough to play for stoke. Good signing by them.
hm...shame
Very risky as he is a total sicknote
Sporting Life has this down as a loan deal, so maybe the sick note risk won't be perceived by Stoke to be too financially debilitating.

His long range passing is good. Phenomenal signing for them. Pretty disappointed he went there. We don't need him here though, Diarra is better and quicker.
Bet he won't pass the medical. We've been linked with him for years so I'm not particularly disappointed about him going elsewhere.

I think we're only linked with him because of Jol and becuase he is out of favour at Spurs. Another typical 1 + 2 = 10 situation with the media. If we were really interested in him, I think he'd chose us, Jol and London over Stoke, Pulis and the Midlands.

I swear the Huddlestone, Bentley, O'Hara rumours have done enough time to be up there in the Koumas category. Huddlestone is a Nottingham lad so may want to head back up that way.
If this is true what is Tony Pulis up to? First he signs Geoff Cameron who is a converted midfielder now playing CB whose best attribute is considered his ability to pass out of the back and now he goes for a midfielder known for his passing ability. He is going to confuse the Stoke fan base.
He will probably be about as much use to Stoke as Steven Davis was to Fulham in the Lawrie Sanchez period.
That's a bit harsh,on Davis!

I had the exact same thoughts, maybe he's buying players that can knock long balls onto Crouch's head?

I don't think AFC is meaning anything against Davis there, more the tactics of Pulis.
I think we'll see this year Davis is very handy at this level. Why Sanchez bought him just to bypass him in midfield I'll never know.

When McGod went down -- shortly after he'd transferred Helguson out -- Sanchez panicked and starting shooting long balls over the head of what was a very talented and creative midfield duo: Davis and Murphy. I've been following Davis since he left us and I'm very impressed with his skill, his pace, and -- most impressive -- his commitment.

If he's finally decided to try and get his side to play football fair play to the man.

I don't think they signed him based on his skill; rather, I think it was his bulk that attracted Pubis.
It's been reported down her that a Mr H Kewell has been loitering around The Potters. Must be a last roll of the dice for Harry but the idea has merit. A last run in the Prem and he won't have to play against Stoke ! oztralian
