Title: PL start
Post by: ffcitaly on August 26, 2012, 02:00:21 PM
Hi all,
which are the teams that have impressed you most from the start of the PL?
I'm quite surprised with Swansea and I like how Everton plays.
On the other side Aston Villa seems quite a weak team.
Let's see how West Ham will play against us,but yesterday they really looked terrible.

Swansea have started really well and are the obvious shout. I think their board should be congratulated for bringing in Laudrup and for winning the signature of Michu who must've been on a lot of peoples radar. That lad from Celtic is meant to be signing for them too, so credit where it's due, despite losing a manager and key players it looks like they've not been damaged at all!

Oh and US! Really happy with the playing style and the squad, still with a few more potentially coming in. Top ten for us I think.

Hurts to say but Chelsea.  I think they look fantastic and in hazard have a world class match winner.  Their bench yesterday included Sturridge, lampard, essien Oscar.  That's not to mention Moses, the Spanish full back who I won't attempt to spell and Marin.

Agree with that. Largely thanks to Hazard, but Torres seems back on it too.

I was unsure how Swansea would do but Laudrup has brought in some very good replacements and their picking up from where they left last season.

As for Everton they've been quality to watch and look like they are finally going to start a season well. I've also been pleasantly surprised with WBA. I had a feeling they might struggle but Steve Clarke is carrying on the work Roy did and they look a tough side to break down.
