So I'm getting way out in front of this, but I am taking my wife and son to London in March and we will be in town for the March 9th match against Chelsea at home. I have many questions, but the most important would be what to do about getting tickets to what's sure to be a sold out match? Also wondering where I should be looking for seats (as in, what seats are best)? My son is 7, by the way, if that affects anyone's advice. I appreciate any helpful tips.
Fulham Supporter Tickets are in The Hammersmith End , Johnny Haynes Stand and The Riverside Stand. Tickets will sell out very quickly. If you have Fulham supporting Season Ticket Holders or members who are willing to buy tickets on your behalf you will stand a greaert chance of getting tickets for this match. Look out for the ticket release dates on fulhamfc.com, these will usually be about 6 weeks before the fixture.
Good Luck..
If its the first time you really have to go to either Hammy end or Riverside, you can't visit the club on the river without leaning on the rail looking out over the Thames at Half time while mulling over the two great goals that have us up 2-0 at half time over Chelsea.
I'm bringing this thread back to life, because I think it's time for me to start looking for tickets.
I have been on this board now for a few years and my ideal scenario would be to buy tickets from a regular poster. I would like to get actual (read: non-fraudulent) tickets and I would like to avoid scalping on the day. Thoughts (or tickets) appreciated...
I should note that my wife is happy to sit this one out if someone only has a pair.

As a local and season ticket holder I have never had to face your problem but have you thought of just contacting the ticket office now and telling them your story?

I saw that today, thanks. We are going to be in town Friday through Monday and the wife has been instructed that this game will take precedence over all other plans, so that shouldn't be an issue. Maybe the date change forces some of the folks on here to miss the game???

That's a great idea that I have, somehow, not considered yet. I will definitely make that call. If any of your fellow season ticket holders want to part with their tickets, please let me know.

I don't tell anyone to do that. For those that hate MAF, the Board, Jol, Berbatov, Ruiz and all our terrible buys, the rubbish football that we apparently play and the price of tickets then I may helpfully suggest it as a way out of their misery.

Muppet alert again! no one on here has lumped Mo the board and Ruiz together and the word hate has never been used. People are entitled to express their displeasure of how the team are playing , how the manager manages and how certain players are playing on here without you telling them to go and support a bitter rival .
Armchair supporter wanting tickets for a big game.Try taking a trip when we are playing a lesser important team more chance of a ticket. For this game may I recommend the family section as not very pleasant to the ears against the blue scum.
Years ago I tried calling the ticket office and telling them my story, living abroad, Fulham since 1960, have not been to the cottage in 10 years but they were not super helpful. I contacted a season ticket holding mate and he sorted me out. Still worth a try though.
I'd try the ticket office. Last Saturday me and the missus made our first trip down after years of waiting and working weekends. I managed to leave my tickets in the Hotel (Idiot I know), called the ticket office and they were VERY helpful and understanding. Give them a try.

In addition, the game's not yet certain to go ahead on 10th March. That weekend has been set aside for the quarter finals of the FA Cup which takes precedence over league fixtures. So the game will be moved if either us or Chelsea get to the quarters. The 4th round of the cup is next weekend (26th Jan) and the 5th round is on the weekend of 16th/17th Feb, so we might not know until then when the game is.
All a bit of a pain when you're coming from a long way and looking to arrange tickets
By way of update, I ended up buying a membership and got 3 tickets in the Haynes stand. Thanks for all the advice. Futureman, I tried to reply to your PM with a thank you, but I'm not sure if it went through.
Now my concern is whether or not there will be a game that weekend. If Chelsea wins its replay (as they likely will), what happens to this match.
Also, I'd be interested to get the group's take on my tickets. Chose the 3rd row near midfield, figuring if I get to go once every few years, I'd rather be down in the thick of it then worry about having the best view of the match (or being covered).
Now that the transfer period has closed, I will bump these questions back to the first page and see if anyone has any answers/thoughts.
1. What happens to the March 10th match if Chelsea wins its replay? If Chelsea loses?
2. 3rd row, near midfield in the Haynes stand. Good seating choice?
