Title: Frei & Dejagah
Post by: JackyFulham90 on November 28, 2012, 11:23:37 PM
Should they start together Saturday? I would imagine he will go with Duff to try contain Bale but Dejagah & Frei have genuine pace and could help us take control of the game I would like to see them start a game together

They are both too right dominant and the team would lose balance. I still think Frei is a better impact sub at the moment, going against tired legs.

Duff will play on our right.

Only question is whether Jol sticks with three midfielders or goes with two plus an extra attacking option who could be any of Petric, Rodallega, Frei or Dejagah.

Sometimes it's good to have better options on the bench to change things.

It's also good that the opposition doesn't know which Fulham they'll face.

I couldn't agree more - Jol will keep AVB (and us!) guessing right down to the wire.   :scarf:

I would like to see Frei & Dejagah but Duffy never lets us down

I would like to see Duff on the right because Bale is then main threat we face.

On the left I would like to see a winger (I would have preferred Kacaniklic but Frei would be a close second) because it will be difficult to go through the middle if Dembele and Sandro play.

I don't think Fulham know which Fulham they'l face.

Jol mixes things up in a way that our previous recent managers didn't.

I have no idea to what extent it's carefully considered or maybe just a hunch but I don't think it's bad to keep everybody guessing.

I think it is a question of how Jol wants to counteract the pace that Spurs have on the wing. On the one hand, we can play a more defensive game with Duff on the right and sit deeper, preventing Bale having lots of space to run into.

On the other hand, we can play two attacking wingers who will either pin him back or leave his full back exposed to the pace of Dejagah and Kaca.
