Title: NFR Alex Furguson
Post by: bobbo on December 28, 2012, 12:12:49 PM
Yes I know nothing to do with us but why is Alex Ferguson allowed to get away with his tirade of abuse at the officials as he did just because referee Kean did not report the incident, Did he and the linesman not speak to each other in the dressing room after the game?Whats more I notice many player get penalised after the event by tv evidence ( the latest being Fellaini ) so why does mouthy fergy not get some kind of penalty or is it yet again the favour shown to the big wealthy clubs

come on you know he is much more important than anyone else in the whole football world.

it's time he spent some time annoying his wife rather than football supporters.

Fellani got dealt with because the incidents were not seen during the game by the ref.
As for AF he was not reported by Dean who dealt with it at the time and deemed it not a booking or sending off as AF did not use abusive language. It was not in the match report so no further action can be taken.

he was also invited into the officials changing room, if he had gone in without permission that would be different.

Yet the FA want Mancini and Redknapp to explain their quite justified comments about decisions that cost their teams points on Saturday. Ferguson even said Cisse was holding Evans when it was clear for all to see that it was the other way round.
Just another example that Ferguson is untouchable by the spineless authorities that run our game. Any coincidence that David Gill is on the FA panel?

You would think that the video evidence (and admission) that he encroached on the pitch would result in something, even if he didn't swear and that screaming and red faced anger didn't count as aggression toward officials.

I also couldn't be sure from the feeds that I have seen but didn't he also leave the technical area to harrangue the lino?

Hiya saltford---yes he definately left the tech area and he does.nt need to swear for it to be an offence .He's a major part of that club and as such is answerable to much the same as the players ie dissent for which he can only be given a yellow card and not sent to the stands.I used to be a referee up to athenian and spartan league standards but the laws of the game apply whatever level and I think the reply from MJG who I'm assuming is either a referee of a county official or even just well read on the laws of the game but I accept no excuses from anyone that he cant be dealt with.I think his attitude makes most of us sick

Hey bobbo.

I thought as much, and I also agree that not swearing has nothing to do with it, it was just him doing what he does with the media as far as I am concerned.

I would guess that with your reffing experience, you will agree with me that it is a terrible standard to set for those youngsters watching, but he seems to be allowed to do it.

His comments regarding Newcastle are also in my eyes, disripute. But that seems to be a charge that no longer really exists.

This vile man should have been in the dock for his comments about the match official after their Swansea game let alone this incident.
That's all I can type as I get too wound up thinking about this hypocrite.

when you allow money to be more important than integrity you know you are heading for disaster. Man utd (and the other big clubs) and what they do and what they get away with should be a subject for a panorama investigation.

You only have to go to a game where one of the big teams play and see the refereeing is 'questionable'.

Money talks far too much in football!

Ferguson is a great manager of football but is relatively simple otherwise, he is afforded far too much respect.
