Title: Well done boys
Post by: Tooting legend on January 15, 2013, 10:34:03 PM
Great result....See 4.4.2 works we dont need to play 4.3.1.1 for me 4.4.2 is always the system. The boys did well tonight and I am very pleased for Richardson.

WELL DONE FULHAMFC.

I hope we don't play 4-3-1-1, we should take advantage of being allowed 10 outfield players!  :005:  :dft011:

Well playing with 11 men is always good so 4-3-1-1 is at an obvious disadvantage.

Obviously the last one is Berbatov who doesn't fit in any system known in football... :D

Sounds like the boys played as a team tonight and Berbatov sitting this one out was the right decision. Hope for the Hammers in the next round now!

The commentary gave me the impression we were there for the taking and blackpool cocked it up.
An average  performance against a team such as blackpool is nothing to get excited about, hardly a great result.
Still a wins a win.

This was a banana skin fixture and by no means a walk in the park.

Good to get the win under the belt, and to stay unbeaten in 4 now. We're having a rough patch so pyschologically this was a big win. The team should be feeling more confident about things now.

i was always edgy about this game and didnt really think the team had any fight. The fact we dragged ourselves from a goal down  is a good start to get us out of this slump.  We showed a bit of fight for the first time in a while.

Yes and we actually had a few shots. Took over 20 minutes despite us having much of the ball but at least we did shoot. Doesn't change opinions but may help some of the players who played instead of the posers.

Well done to Jol and the team, and the travelling fans - a great battling performance - we never gave up.

This could be a turning point of our season.

We were obviously listening to different commentaries. The one I heard gave me the impression they were there for the taking but we nearly cocked it up.

Not what I heard, Sweaty summed it up in the first half when he said we were slow, very predictable and although lots of possession nothing in the final third, Blackpool had very good chances missed, We did step up a gear  second half and he then said how things had improved as we were passing the ball quicker and forwards, echo of the shouts from the stands last Saturday?
