I've got a feeling that if we beat QPR on 01 April it might be enough to guarantee the end of their time in the PL.
Could there be anything sweeter than being the team to send them and a Putney End full of April fools packing as Fernandes and Redknapp speed off up the Thames with a suitcase full of used ten pound notes?
Well they wouldn't be April fools as the game is at 20:00pm, however the initial point is a good one. Would be great to put a nail in the coffin (doubt it's be the final one, but still a nail is a nail)
Man U. H
Southampton A
Villa A
Sunderland. H
Fulham. A
If they take 2 points from the next 5 they will be on 19 points with 21 left to play for.
They would need to win all 7 to make safety in that scenario.
Guess it depends on their next 5 but either way it's a nail as you say!
I think we should organise a charity bucket collection for QPR when we play them, the money raised should be enough to send Jamie Mackie to a donkey sanctuary so he can see out his last years in relative comfort.
What are odd on QPR joining our old friends Wolves in League 1?
In a season like ours, games like the Apr01 encounter have provided "firsts" of different kinds by the opposition, ends of losing runs, first wins, etc. etc.
I think I prefer to forget all about nails in others' coffins, just bask in the warmth of not being near that dreadful relegation zone, and not think about the misfortunes of others.

Forget Wolves, have you seen where Portsmouth are? Second from bottom of League 1 and 11 points from safety. Another job which Harry had.
Don't write QPR off too soon. We did that last season, and they had a harder run in (on paper) than this time around.

First Downing goal and assist in BPL for Liverpool.
Was it not us that gave them their first win of the season?
Fulhamish comes to mind whenever I read these posts
QRP (Quite Probably Relegated) have a big problem
Assuming one of Villa, Reaing, Wigan get a run going then QPR will need 4 wins (assuming Newcastleget no points) just to close the gap
16 Newcastle played 26 goal diff -12 pts 27
17 Aston Villa 26 -25 24
18 Reading 26 -15 23
19 Wigan 26 -21 21
20 QPR 26 -22 17
Not sure it's definite they are down here is the league table Feb 2008 and we had only 2 more points than qpr have now, thing is we were only 3 points from safety they are 7 with teams above in a bit of form, we managed 17 out of 36 points think they may need 20 but still do-able.
