a) because he did in fact contribute a lot to the club during his time with us.
b) just to confuse him for the game
Just come and have a quiet game Bobby and the Fulham faithful will show the appropriate respect.
BUT if we see you cup your ear I might just climb the fence and chastise you myself. 092.gif
I was sad to see Zamora leave, although I still think he may have been something to do with dressing room unrest press leaks at the time, or his agent was. Yes if he is ok to the Fulhan fans, we will be fine to him
I wasn't planning on visiting the physio room...so it's a no from me!
Although there's no doubt that without his goals we would not have got to Hamburg, so for that I am grateful and he has his place in club history.
Are you all mad, in all my Fulham supporting life I can't remember a player who disrespected us fans as much as him, he was going no where until Fulham bought him
Showed total lack of respect to us fans, he's just a greedy ba$t@rd,
Hope no one claps him
I will not be clapping him but I appreciate the role he played for Fulham in his time here
Bobby Zamora. Whatever you think of him, an interesting case.
Viewed purely as a goalscorer he has never really convinced anywhere outside the lower leagues and might be viewed as what is described, in cricket terms, as a 'flat track bully'.
However, Hodgson recognized that he could contribute to the kind of game he favoured and there can be no doubt that (despite a disapointing goal return in the League) Zamora had a pretty sensational season-and-a-half, during which he became probably the best player of his type in the League and was rewarded with a couple of caps. Other than that he has been quite uninspiring and has, understandably, not endeared himself to our fans with his rather odd attitude. He has also been (and continues to be) injury prone.
I'm not sure of my attitude towards him. I think the same kind of indifference he displayed towards us might be in order. The major snag is that a player of his type, if on top form, is more than capable of causing us trouble.
A striker that once claimed 'its not my job to score goals'. In form Bobby was brilliant but my god he was a difficult player with the fans and I'm sure Roy had a few problems with him too.
He gave everything for us and was instrumental in getting us to our only major cup final in almost 50 years. I know he's going to get booed on Monday, and it's making me sick in advance.
I remember Vic Halom and Malcolm MacDonald coming back to Luton and only getting a friendly and humorous reception from the notoriously abusive Oak Road End boys. How times have changed.
He'll get booed and he deserves it.
The majority of the fans stuck with him, even when he was shocking the first year or so with us, only a few had a go at him. Then he starts scoring and held utter contempt for the fans by ear-cupping and shushing all of us after every single goal he scored. And the rest of us took this disrespect because at least he was scoring. Then we support him during his injury, he comes back, plays rubbish again, and falls out with a new manager so starts spreading rumours about dressing room unrest, sabotaging the club and nearly getting us relegated. Then he leaves to go to one of our biggest rivals.
He's one of the most detestable players we've had at the club for a long long time. He deserves the reception he'll get, which will also be the same from me I might add.

Spot on, remember the FC Twente away game where he did sod all, got substituted, us fans clapped him off and didn't even acknowledge us, and that wasn't the only time, then goes to the HAHas and moans he's bored of football but still happy to pick up his thousand of pounds in wages
I thought people had decided how to react to Zamora already considering the majority of people at QPR away last season booed/called him a moron.
I won't be applauding him. As much as he was key to our run in Europa and I thank him for that he acted like a spoilt brat for the most part then because we didnt play the way he wanted got the ump and jumped shipped to QPR. Was a great move for us actually. Applaud? No chance.
