Title: Stoke make contact with Hughes

Stoke City have made contact with Mark Hughes as they look to replace Tony Pulis as manager.

The Premier League club have made their interest known to Hughes, who has been out of management since being sacked by Queens Park Rangers in November.

He will try to turn the playing style around though and that can only be good.

He isn't that bad of a manager, he got us some key players but keeping the dressing room happy is probably his weak point.

This was in this evening's Standard.... The reporter said he left us for lack of ambition only to have a disastrous spell at QPR. Quite sarcky.
