Proven quality, say he was prepared to accept wages of 50 k - but with the court case hanging over him. Would you take the risk?
No. End of discussion
No thanks.
The Club wouldn't.
We don't know yet if he's guilty, very good player.
Guilty or not no we shouldn't bother.
would score goals.... would defo consider, find out his situation and what the figures would be

him too
Hitler says NEIN for 10 minutes (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1MLry6Cn_D4#ws)
if hes not guilty then id bid around 4mil
hes actually very good, no idea why he choose qpr over other teams
No chance.
Yes - if Joltjought we needed him. I'd rather see us pay it for a top shelf midfielder, which is what we need.
I think John Bindon provided enough of the criminal element to SW6 for a lifetime. Absolutely not.
Definitely not. Mo would never allow it.
I think a lot of people are forgetting he could well have been stitched up. Based on his footballing ability alone I'd defintely have him. If proven not guilty I'd have him in a heart beat. If guilty then I hope his sort rots.
Quick, incisive and with a good scoring record; just what we need. Whether the baggage he brings with him is a big factor against I don't know. I suspect the transfer fee and his wages might be.
No thanks - Wasn't it said that he had glass ankles when he first arrived at QPR ? Suspect he will get kicked to pieces if he plays in the Championship for them.
No, with or without a court case hanging over him.
He scored some fantastic goals last season which made him instantly memorable, but was virtually non-existant when he had to play up front on his own in Zamora's absence.
Plus the fact that his goals came against West Ham, Southampton, Sunderland, Wigan, Newcastle (penalty) and us suggests he may struggle against better defences.
He scored goals in a simply dreadful team and proved he had enough quality in play in the Premier League. If it wasn't for the court case pending I'd take him, although not for the lottery winning wages QPR were giving him.
Innocent until proven guilty? I don't think he's been charged yet. He's a good striker and would be worth a punt.
i wouldent worry about Remy-he may be a good striker but his injury record aint great-would rather take a punt on Charlie Austin or sheffield wednesday striker Gary Madine
Purely on footballing reasons, he would be high on my list. I would take him over someone like Bent, no doubt about it.
I'd definitely have him for £5m but read somewhere he's got a minimum £8m clause in his contract? In terms of this court case, I don't think he's been charged with anything yet. Don't they make in decision in September as to whether he'll be charged or not?
Not at 70 grand a week. Half that and a transfer fee of 3 or 3.5 m
Yes In a flash, quick, stong and eye for goal who likes to shoot on sight which we don't have at the mo and to get him at that price would be a steal
Definitely not while this police investigation is continuing. We have certain high standards.
The guy hasn't been found guilty though? Just because he's accused of it doesn't mean there's any truth in it. Which is why I personally think that the accused should remain unnamed until found guilty.
Back on topic... Maybe. But wages would be an issue and he'd likely get offers from abroad. Whether he can leave the country though may be an issue.

Is this the same Charlie Austin who has just failed a medical at another Prem club? Yet Remy has a poor fitness record? Confused!

Think his comment was posted before the announcement of the failed medical was unveiled? Either way, I wouldn't be too impressed if we signed Austin or Madine!

Gary Madine is a complete idiot who doesn't know the meaning of the word professional. Good in League One, poor in the Championship.
Further, he has an on-going court case for GBH.
