I wonder if Jol would even recognise what club you're talking about if he were to read this; I'm sure that much of it is imagination and fantasy. Not getting at you, you're only repeating what's doing the rounds and it's that quiet time of the year when jouranlists clutch at any straw.

Watch this space for him to come up with someone that no-one's probably heard of, let alone mentioned. Meantime, he must welcome the smokescreen.

I hav eno doubt it is made up Zu-Meister , I just thought it was interesting that he fits the bill given that Jol has previously signed him and he is somewhat of a London club reject.....

As a matter of purely academic interest (if any) Berbatov and Bent were both at Spurs for the 2007/8 season.
They shared the pitch 26 times (Dimitar was subbed on twice and off once, Darren on 15 and off 3). Results w10 d7 l9
Dimitar scored 12 in those 26 games, Darren 4. They both scored in 2 games.

No idea what this shows, except that they didn't form one of the all-time sensational partnerships.
Fulham supporters had their attention concentrated on other things that season, but Spurs finished an indifferent 11th. Robbie Keane was the prefered strike partner that season and Bent was usually on the bench (or, possibly, injured). He was a regular the next season when Dimitar was shipped off to the Fulham of the North.
