Whites v Bolton at The Cottage '62 - '63 season. Boys enclosure 1/6 if I remember right.

1-1. Pesch equalised mid-way through the second half after Nigel Gleghorn had put the visitors 1 up at the break.
It was, indeed, Cookie's debut for Fulham.
Hearts vs Falkirk in 1992
Hampton and Richmond vs Croydon, in I think 1987, was a 4-2 win for Hampton and Richmond

That was my first Fulham game too. Never looked back after that.
My first actual football match was England 4-0 Moldova in the same year. It was the game after Princess Diana had died and they played candle in the wind at wembley. All the lighters and candles in the stadium was amazing in that game.
Roma v Sampdoria 3-1...I was a Samp fan when I was a kid.
Fulham v Wimbledon 85 I think, Cliff Carr scored a 90th minute winner!
Tottenham Hotspur v Man Utd 1967-68
Waterford 2 St Patricks Athletic 1 around 1978 at Lansdowne Road in the FAI cup final. First Fulham game was a 1-1 draw against Spuds in the old 2nd division around the same time..

April 1989. Chester City 7-0 Fulham. Was only three so my dad decided to leave early; we missed the last two goals. 049:gif
Celtic vs Dunfermline, 1996.
I was pretty young, but I remember it well. 5-1 to Celtic including a Pierre Van Hooijdonk 35 yard screamer of a free kick.
September 1966, for the life of me cannot remember who it was against.................maybe I have the programme somewhere.................first football game would have been Woking, 5 to 10 years earlier.............
My first Fulham game was the 1-1 draw against Bolton in the first home match of 2006-07, after we'd been hammered 5-1 at Old Trafford to start the new season. Jimmy Bullard equalized with a 90th minute penalty after El-Hadji Diouf had given Bolton the lead, also on a penalty, in the 73rd minute. It was the first home Fulham match both for Bullard and Franck Queudrue.
My first game was a MLS game at Giants Stadium a few years earlier but I don't remember any specifics.
Fulham 3-2 Liverpool 2002 Not a bad first game
Fulham 1 Arsenal 0 66/67, going to the game was my christmas present.
I can't remember if the game was boxing day or new years day, I only know I had to wait a short while for the next time we beat Arsenal at the Cottage fp.gif

I've been told that mine was in September 1992, at home to Plymouth. I don't remember it though...
First ever game I can remember (I'm sure there were some before this) was Spurs v Leicester Cup Final 1961. 092.gif First ever Fulham was in 1970 v Plymouth. Stopped watching football for a long time then until the Tigana era and Blackburn at home in 2000 when I saw the light and have missed barely a home game since then.

Mine was 1977 Fulham v Swansea. Remember Gerry Peyton in goal.
Away at Huddersfield in the promotion season when I was 4 was my first ever football game. Caught us at a good time.

Fulham vs brentford. Was a boring 0 0. Not sure on exact date but must have been around 27 to 29 years ago
As much as I hate to admit it..it was a QPR game, can't remember against who. Our football team (must have been u9's) went together, I remember Crouch was playing for QPR back then and I was amazed at how lanky this guy was, so must have been 2000
Home to Bristol Rovers 17th April 1982 we won 4-2. 10 days before I was born but my mum, Sharon Duce, sat very pregnant in the Sevenage Road Stand, if that counts. On another note I think Bent is coming mate is a journo for Telegraph and thats the scoop this evening..........oh yeah!

Not quite, I was 7 at the time, so work it out for yourself
England 2 Spain 1, Euro 1980 in Naples as a 9 year old! We lived in Naples as my Dad had been posted out there a year or so earlier. Went a few times to watch Napoli a few times in the next couple of years (Rudi Krol was the overseas star) until we came back to England. A year or two after that, he took us to watch Fulham (we lost in the FA Cup!) and that was that...hooked ever since!!
Incidentally, that was the last game England won in a Euro finals until 1996 when Gazza beat Scotland!
Mine was home to Bristol Rovers too. But in 1976 and George Best's debut for Fulham, where he scored the winner early in the match.

If so I lived next door to them in Chiswick and went to my first Fulham match with them in 1966 v Man City a 4-1 win

First Fulham game was 1886 against Dial Square FC. Ahhh the memories
Fulham 0 Millwall 0 1981. Cocky 15 year old at the time. Hooked for life after about 10 minutes!

About 1971, can't remember the name of the opposition. My dad took me. It was cold, miserable, boring, 0-0, and I hated it.

Fulham vs Wolverhampton, March 2012. 5 - 0 win. Probably the only game I'll get to see in person, given I live in Australia :down_under:, so it was a good one! 049:gif

What a dreadful game that was - they seemed to pack the box with all 11 players for the whole 90 minutes. Coleman was a class player though.
Got to my first game in about 1971 (QPR at home, league cup - won 2-0, I think) but have followed the team since 1962.
August 1967 Chelsea reserves V Northampton reserves I was 10 years old and my Dad took me. We only went because my Dad was a fan of a guy called Tommy Harmer, who was playing for Chelsea. 2 weeks later, same ground Chelsea 1 Fulham 1.
Manchester City 3 Fulham 1 at Maine Road on October 5, 1959.
I remember that Alf Stokes scored the Fulham goal.
Haven't yet posted on this forum, however as this was one of my favourite Fulham memories thought I would make it my first.
My first live match was Fulham v Aston Villa in 2003 where we ended up winning 2-1 thanks to a Jon Harley screamer from what must have been about 40 yards out, everyone went mental and although I was very small at the time I remember seeing the ball just float over the goalkeepers wailing arms. Such a good memory, a shame my first game wasn't at the cottage, but I very much enjoyed it and have been a happy follower of Fulham ever since.
