But if you are one of those 4 away supporters to see your team win - happy days and a season's worth of bragging rights.

I think I went to Wolves away back in the dark old days, a mid week game at the old Molenuix, smashed 5-0 or 5-1 and we only had about 5 away fans.

It's a fair distance from Morecambe to Pompey. I don't suppose they have a lot of exiles on the south coast either.

Never been to Morecambe myself but have been very reliabley informed that its a dump. You'd think more of their fans would jump at the chance to get out of the town for a few hours and get down to the south coast, even if it is only Portsmouth - which isn't exactly Monte Carlo !!

Our family have never missed a game in 40 years so I don't think your memory is that good, we have always had a hard core of 30- 40 fans who go to all games.

I've been to plenty of mid week games much further north than Wolves, especially during the early 90s and we always had a decent hardcore of around 100 - 200 and of course more on Saturdays.
