Surely its worth getting this guy back for another year on a free. Showed sparks of talent and would certainly be a better back-up than Rods, despite his horrific miss against Chelsea. Anyone?
Was awesome in Pre Season then throughout the season he was just very poor. Maybe would of been more effective over a longer stint in the starting 11 but I can't see him getting that here and Rodallega's pace will cause more problems than Petric in my opinion.
No, thanks.
Too similar to Berba and too injury prone.
Good player who would never get a game would be a waste of wages
I feel three strikers is enough. Taarabt has played upfront before too.

Agree. It would also push Trotta further down the pecking order.
I still don't think he'll make it at the highest level but it would be nice to see him appear in a couple of games if we are are comfortable to see him get a run out. That would never happen if Petric was here (and not injured)
I never saw Petric as anything but a waste. Oh look I shall wander in an offside position, I shall miss from two inches. Although I know many are not fans of Rodders I would play him ahead of Petric everytime. But I would like a 4th striker. Just in case.

Yes please, get him in and let go of Rodallega
Rumour is that he will return in Switzerland (Zurich, Sion?) as it might be the best time to return for him and his family. However he might still wait for an offer in the UK before deciding.
Wouldn't get any game time, I agree that he is better than Rodallega, but as it is Bent is second choice and Petric/Rodallega third.
I don't see any reason why he should want to return if he isn't going to get picked. He will want to play for a team where he will get regular games.

Why would he come back to be a backup?
The topic might be irrelevant now as he will most probably sign tomorrow for Reading.....

Oo, a slow and immobile strike partnership in a League that is known for being fast paced. I can't wait to see how that goes.
He's a top top player. Had he have a decent run...
I dont think they play prog.... He will be awesome in that league
Anyone who says Petric is a top player is correct, and I totally agree.
During the opportunities he was given, he looked immobile, slow & uninterested. He is also old. No thanks.
Sorry, no space for him.
