QPR to stay down this season not in spite of them... i'd love to chase the league title with them next season, like the two Sheffield clubs did a few seasons ago.. but we'd both go up but we'd do a Sheffield Wednesday(as we are the bigger club) ;) and beat them to the league title! would be interesting if you added Brentford into the mix next season as they would try their hardest to beat both ourselves and QPR as they despise us both equally!! adding the mackums to the promotion mix also... COYW!!
It could be a lot of fun..
We don't really seem to be the kind of club capable of maintaining a serious rivalry in the premiership. We're not threat I suppose..
Selfishly speaking.. I have a lot of connections to the Midlands, if we went down there'd be a hell of a lot of away games I'd fancy taking on. Leeds, Derby, Nottingham Forest, Leicester (who are probably gonna be in the Premier League I suppose..) and the like, so I'd definitely attend more games both home and away than I do currently.
Week in week out though as a fan who is a plane flight away from the Cottage, it'd be a bit difficult following a Championship team.
I'd probably go back to my old stance of adopting a British (or several) team in Europe and making them my "TV team" to watch..
If we went down we would probably never get back. There are plenty examples in the championship and Division 1.
I have doubts if whether we would be able to get out of the Championship if we do drop
Yep. If we go down, we'll be there for a while. Would be good to get rid of Berbatov etc though in the process.
It would be good for developing a rivalry, because at the moment, I don't care really. It's like playing West Ham, or Charlton, it gives you bragging rights over your mates but it's not a rivalry like United-City, Arsenal-Spurs, Chelsea-Spurs, Arsenal-United, Madrid-Barca, Galatasaray-Fenerbache, etc.
The allure of the small time beckens, another thirty years in the lower leagues is on the cards, thanks mackintosh, thanks the board.. thanks mr khan... thanks for sending us backwards.
the thing is that Rangers will most likely be promoted. I dearly hope that we don't pass them in the elevator on the way down. If we do go down and they get promoted, all those on here who had so much fun on "We are the Rangers Boys" over the summer ... .
if we go down, we would probably go down again

Never ever get the point of giving it the big'un to other club's fans when they're doing poorly. Not only does it make you seem classless, but it'll always come back to bite you. Now, if we do go down and they come up, we'll have to take the flak as a fan base because of the immaturity of a few.
