Title: Great, 4 points adrift...
Post by: Blanco on February 02, 2014, 03:28:06 PM
We haven't even played Man U or Liverpool yet. Everything is going against us.

I have started to be a bit positive again, Stoke beat United, United sucks at home, we have Mitroglou, Holtby and Kvist, and hopefully a fighting Fulham in against United, that hopefully gives us 3 points! With United's home form I wont write us of that match!

To be fair, a team could lose 18 on the bounce and with us up next they will end that.

I thought that both Kvist and Holtby had good games yesterday. If Mitroglou is the beast that has been suggested then we might escape the drop.

Five with our goal difference.

It's not that it's going against us, more that the other teams are fighting for points whilst we concede one and then disappear in to the abyss every game and 1 becomes 2, 3, 4 or 5. Rene says we have the charachter.....well time to start showing it.

We have lost 4 in a row that's why we are bottom. In the great escape year we had 24 points from 33 games but won 4 out of 5 to stay up we will need something similar again

It's true we're in better shape now than back then. There's time to turn it around yet.

I do fancy us to take some points that we didn't expect. Be that against United or Liverpool, I can see us surprising one of them.

It's just not fair that every other team gets to play Fulham twice but we don't.

Thanks Matt.  First time I've smiled in a long while

Maybe we should petition the Premier League for a 6-point handicap
