I have seen many posts recently that are suggesting, if we go down, it will be a long time until we get back, well it is equally true that we could come back immediately. You only have to look at clubs like Newcastle, west Brom and Sunderland for prove of that. You may say, ah what about Coventry and Charlton, well, their problems were that they were poorly ran and I do not believe that we are.
Finally, if we go down, this would be a golden opportunity to blood our talented youngsters prior to our return to the Premier League.
That's true, some people seem to think that relegation will mean a repeat of the relegation in the 60's, with Khan morphing into Ernie Clay, the team being undermined and dismantled and most of the letters falling of the Fulham Football Club sign on the Riverside, followed by more relegation and crowds of 3 or 4 thousand and 6-0 defeats at home to Port Vale.
It doesn't have to be like that. As you say, if the owners keep cool, maintain the structure, organisation of a prem league club we can come back quickly. Southampton have shown how quickly it can be turned around and they were in total chaos a few seasons back.

I have to say I am much more positive about being relegated than I was a few weeks ago - I still believe we can stay up though (I will keep taking the tablets) - it will be an ideal time to clear out the deadwood and start again with a load of cash from the parachute payment. We may even have enough money to rebuild the Riverside Stand. If we get up via the playoffs then even more cash!!!
My only concern are the players we will lose - Stek for starters, I would love him to stay but he won't want to play in the Championship. Riether? Kasami?
I would also want Rene to stay and rebuild our team based on our youth as we have some good players who could really shine given the chance of first team football.
