Decided to watch the game in a pub. Tight first half that I believe Derby has just edged. Come on you whites.
Its really been a back and forward game, but Derby needs to fix theire crosses in to the box, they are terrible on that part, but they play better and tackles very good!
The commentary is awful. They love this pict club and they somehow said QPR have edged it ?! Bizarre.
Thought I had no interest in this but am listening on Five Live. QPR on the break sound good but Derby have the team play.
Derby have bossed second half but QPR nearly scored as soon as they had first chance of 2nd half.
Waheyyyyy!!!
HAHAs got a red!! Come on Derby get a goal now! :D
QPR down to 10 - cynical foul - good decision
Great play from Derby leading up to it and the nut meg was lovely.
I have to say, it's absolutely amazing support from the 39,000 hardcore & loyal, never miss a game ha ha fans... NOT. Literally, barely heard a thing from them! Suppose that's what happens when you drag anyone along with you to desperately try & bump the numbers up.
Fair play to Rob Green, he's shown what a decent keeper he can be.
how jammy!!!!!!
FFS!!!! How is it possible to mess up a 11vs10 and let a goal in like that ffs!!
nice finish
oh no !
Why on earth were we concerns about playing good football next year? Sit on your 18 yard box, 10 men behind the ball and lump it and we'll be promoted.
Had to be Zamora
what a piss take!
Of cause its Zamora...
The £129m GOAL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
One shot on target and they are going up. Bobby Zamora gets it as well.
Lovely pass from Derby defender to Bobby, should have put it out esp in
Last minute..
well that just well and truly sums our season up.....i dont think it will get any worse than this....just about everything has gone against us...amazing
i lways loved bobby and jol and some unkind fulham supporters hounded him out, what a massive error and how we have missed him!
Says it all about their performance that Richie Dunne got MOTM. Lost count of the number of headed clearances he made today. Good finish by BZ to be fair.
FFS 090.gif
Well if they can do it so can we.

Really??? Not the fact the arrogant idiot wanted to double his wages.
Never forget him telling the fans to calm down when we destroyed the ha ha's.
oh well least we can watch them struggle with a load of 30+ year old players in the prem and see them get relegated
Green saved them second half..
They may be inbred chavs but I envy a decent day out at Wembley. If we don't hit auto I wouldn't mind a play off final win.
I HATE QPR, I HATE them to my guts god this day just got so seriously bad! Reeicilous result of a redicilous match by a redicilous club, the S!"iest club to ever excist next to Chelsea.........

Dont know bout that they will have lots to spend..
Derby will have one of auto slots taken
Well I will console myself with my winnings... still doesn't feel good. Then again watching QPR implode in the premiership next season should be fun. They never have been good at being in the premiership. :)
Had a bet at 10 to 1 with 10 minutes to go to soften the blow if the haha's won so I have something to compensate

I'm not so sure. A loss in the play off final has knocked the stuffing out of plenty of clubs before. Watford didn't even make the play offs this season.
Gutted

They're getting a massive fine. And their parachute payments apparently get given to the rest of the FL too.
Will be interesting to see how the clubs getting hit by FFP act this summer. As well as Barca with their imminent transfer ban.
The 6 easy points rangers would have guaranteed us next season just disappeared. We tend to struggle against Derby though
It is a fitting climax to our season.... At least we won't lose in next years play off final to them!
And they may even avoid having to pay the financial fair play fine as well!

Gutted but a fitting end to a thoroughly awful season. Rob Green is a seriously good keeper- should be on the plane to Brazil. Silver lining is that they would've been a real threat to us in the Championship next season, whereas I think Derby will have most of their biggest talents poached by premier league clubs now.
Never mind lets channel our energy and support in getting
the whites back up...
Delighted it's QPR rather than Derby
I am very pleased for Bobby,Our Bobby knew how to win a game
It is a stupid game and one that I no longer have the strength to follow. Every week is the same even when we don't play. I blame Jol.
Oh well at least that is it. The season that must go down as the worse on our history. No I didn't feel worse when we were in the lower divisions.

I was torn because behind 'the Alien', Brede and McBride, BZ was my favorite over the past 7 seasons. If QPR were to win, I guess the only palatable way was for him to score it. Bummer QPR won but happy for Bobby.

Oh Ridgy nooooooooooo !!!! none of them are in the same league as McBride
Some people are overreacting. Yes QPR do suck and I'm annoyed they won, but we're Fulham fans not anti-QPR fans. Lets focus on getting promoted through good football rather than luck and old men. QPR armchair fans must be loving reading these comments.

Quite right. It was his treatment of Bobby that proved for certain that he was the complete arsehole that some of us suspected.

I know but I was fond of Konch and BZ because everyone else slated them so savagely, and I never bought into the pack mentality and thought both of them were good, if not excellent at times, for us.
Brede I love because of his loyalty to our club, he was Hodgson player, like BZ, and while perhaps he wasn't a great Captain, he was always professional, unassuming and a dominant defender on his day.
Come on, lets be honest, this has been the final nail in our coffin for what I class as one of our poorest seasons. It was never going to end any other way.
congratulations to Bobby Zamora and congratulations to the 10 men who kept a superior team from scoring on them.

A lesson on defending that our lads should learn from!
Remember it was Derby supporters who invaded the pitch in the 80th minute and denied us promotion under Malcolm McDonald. I have no Sympathy for them at all. QPR can enjoy their promotion but if we need an almost entire team then so do they. They are in huge debt and will probably be relegated atb the end of the season after another load of mercenaries have joined them. Good Luck!
I feel a bit queasy. As Admin says, it's more because of how it caps off what has been an abysmal year-and-a-half for our club. There are still one or two players in that QPR squad that I have good memories of, so I'll wish them well. Hope Redknapp buggers off, though.

I wouldn't worry to much, QPR are most likely to yo-yo, mainly because of their huge debt, and also because of fines / transfer embargo's for breaking the fair play rules. I can guarantee it'll most likely be the reverse come the end of next season, and to be honest, it's a distraction i'd rather have out the way whilst we try to get back up - Brentford I can handle.

Let's hope they have to invest heavily again and between the debt they have now and the pile they will have at the beginning of next season after spending a ton again this summer, and then the other pile they will spend in January to stave off relegation, the whole thing comes crumbling down. Rednapp is the master at destroying clubs.
But QPR belong in the Prem cos obviously they're a massive club. :022:

They will have to, they will not survive with that squad, and remember, the benchmark of 70-80k a week wages has already been set. They won't be getting little gems in for 40k a week, well not under Harry anyway. Good luck to them, they ground out promotion when most thought they wouldn't, but they are financially in tatters, and I can only see it getting worse back up in the Premiership.
Just got back from the game. If im honest, as much as I hate QPR, was a fairly good day out - my QPR mates are pretty humble and it was more of a piss up than anything. WISH we get to the play-off final next season.
You have friends who support QPR..Aaaaargh..lol

Good luck to them. I look forward to seeing their central defensive partnership of Clint Hill & Richard Dunne.
You don't have to look too far back in this post to see my views about the result, but to be fair Rangers defended well, Green was their MoTM and they took their one chance really well.
Bobby didn't do his famous goal celebration of telling the crowd to shut up so even he was pleased.

It would definitely better than not making the playoffs! That said, I'd much prefer automatic promotion, I'd fear Fulham in a single elimination game.

Well that is not quite how i heard it, Jol tried all he could to get BZ on side but right from the off he did not want to know, and he caused a lot of disruption in the dressing room, but in all honestly do we really know, it is oh so easy just to blame someone and stick with it.

Maybe its because all those players knew he was as hopeless as he turned out to be.
Even when they should be enjoying their achievements they are still thinking about us - although my QPR mate has been very gracious so far.
I enjoyed this quote on WATRB:
'There (sic) demise, our promotion and to boot Bobby getting the goal to send us above them it could not have been scripted any better.'
Good old Bobby will be long gone by next season perhaps returning to his beloved Brighton? I'd taken the decision not to travel to Loftus Road next season thinking there are far better ways to spend £45 than being shoehorned into that appalling away end.
The footballing gods have given us a tough ride these last few years but I genuinely believe we will return stronger as a result.

Fulham's dreadful away form in the last months of the season were what denied us promotion under Malcolm. The events at Derby merely compounded the felony. even in the Derby game I doubt we would have scored if we had been out there for another two hours, let alone a few minutes.
