This is a question for everyone but as a 25year old my memory only goes back to 1995 onwards. I'd be interested to see how accurate this team would be to the older fans who have seen the 60's etc....
Van der sar
cohen coleman hangeland langley
Mullery
Murphy Haynes
Leggatt ivor saha
Subs
Macedo
Finnan
Morgan
Robson
Boa morte
Steed
Mcbride
I would agree with Van Der Sar, Cohen, Mullery, Murphy & Haynes
Macedo has to go in front of Van de Sar. He was far braver and a very good shot stopper
The pity is that it is unlikely that none of us saw players from prewar, players like Gibbons and Shea, so, these comparisons are never truly accurate but with what information you have, you have picked a pretty good side there.
These things are always very difficult (obviously Moore would get in anybody's 'best-ever' team, although his best days were elsewhere).
Your choice is pretty good, although a place would have to be found for Alan Clarke and I'd rate several in front of Hangeland.
