We now publicly advise approaching the ground on match days to get tickets in home ends, as an away fan? I can't comprehend why?!

Has anyone contacted the Club to establish if this Info is :
1     Correct
2     The Reason Why ???

It would probably be wise before you go off  half    090.gif
It will  also save  :dft007: :group hug: :dft007:  and a bit of   :protest card:

it is correct.  In fact I checked and then double checked that it was firstly a Cardiff fan and that it was the Fulham account.
I know someone has tweeted Sarah Brookes and also the Fulham twitter shall we say has had some interesting tweets aimed at it.

I wouldn't bother e mailing the club, it will be too late as I'm still waiting for an e mail reply to the e mail I sent 2 weeks ago

Emailed the club and they assured me that :

'Away fans are strictly not allowed to purchase tickets in the Hammersmith End, Riverside or Johnny Haynes Stand – our Head of Social Media was merely informing that tickets are available on the day – Hammersmith for home fans and the Putney End for fans of either side.'

Why you'd need to inform Cardiff fans of being able to access home tickets , is beyond me. Also:

'I can categorically tell you now that Fulham fans' safety is of paramount importance to us and we would never allowed a fan of an away team in a home area. If someone does slip in, they'll be removed – it's as simple as that. We've yet to have an away fan in any home areas so far this season, and will be looking to keep it that way.'

Quick response and I didn't expect them to admit any wrong doing in the way they've informed an away fan, but a response nonetheless.

They are quite obviously blagging their way out of some buffoons mistake earlier today. Like you said, why do they even need to inform Cardiff fans? Derrrr

Anyway, regardless of Cardiff fans not being allowed in the home end, they will surely try it on now knowing they can purchase tickets on the day.

Why would any Cardiff fans want to sit in the away end if they have a choice anyway

If I go to the match I expect I'll be sat next to one

"We've yet to have an away fan in any home areas so far this season, and will be looking to keep it that way."

I saw two Millwall fans get ejected from the Hammy End earlier this season, so the Club have got their facts wrong there!
