Sure Magath has gone. Big deal. Nothing will change until there are changes in the board room. Since Jol all the managers have been scapegoats. It's rotten at the top. That's what needs to change. Sort out the cause, not the symptoms. CEO should have gone today too. He appointed Magath, bought into his philosophy, agreed his strategy & let him execute it. You're all kidding yourselves if you think anything is going to change.

Please kindly point us in the direction of the evidence to support those claims.
Or is it just obvious?
Eh? If he didn't appoint & back him then what's his job? Isn't that what CEOs do, ie run the business and are accountable to the shareholders (in this case the fans) for business performance? If that's not what his job is, what is it?
Lighten up. Night to rejoice!
Time will tell if jock is right but it has been a total shambles since half way through Jols tenure

No, it isn't necessarily his job.
Firstly a football club isn't a normal large business because it has only one shareholder, in our case Khan.
The idea that the fans are the shareholders is pure fantasy. It is like saying that the CEO of Tesco is accountable to the Tesco shoppers. We are the customers. Or maybe a better anology is that we are addicts.
And as with Al-Fayed it is most likely that Khan is responsibile for the final decision on hiring and firing.
Oh good! I was sooooooo afraid I'd miss all the "Felix Out" threads [95% of the total this last month] when I came on here. Now it looks like they'll be replaced by "sack the board." Whee!
