Title: When I Was 14 Playing For My School Team.
Post by: Mince n Tatties on February 14, 2015, 08:38:43 PM
I could cross a ball perfectly(wet leather one) with right and left foot.
Why cant these overpaid pros in our side do it?
Do they actually practise it in training, unbelievable some of our crossing...

+1.
We are crap at set pieces - both defending them and taking them.  Makes you wonder what's happening in training.  Basics.

Was that for "the oompa loompa's 11 " when we played the "stable lads" in Epsom they used to run between our legs! And we used to let them have about 15 against our 11.

My dear old dad, a life long Fulham supporter (passed away recently aged 91) always used to say to me when a player miss hit a shot and people said it was on his wrong foot he would reply "If he can't shoot with both feet he should be on half wages!"

I still play, in the over 60 league on Sunday mornings. I take the corners for my team and a very high percentage hit the target, always between the 6 yard line and the penalty spot. If I can do why cant these overpaid prima donnas.
