Does anyone know why we sometimes know the fee and sometimes it's undisclosed.
Thanks in advance

Normally undisclosed nowadays as there are so many variables e.g. % only payable up front, rest dependant on no. of games played by transferred player, bonus payable if buying club gets promoted, bonus if transferred player gets international call up.
Examples are Pat Roberts and Chris Smalling..in both cases lump sums received but then further amounts depending on above (received for Smalling, awaiting for Roberts)
If a club is a listed company, they have to make a statement on how it affect them, but that is not necessary the true value of the sale. But I'm sure other sharp brains on here can explain how that works much better than I can.
