My son left the game after 80 minutes, first time he's ever left early. Got to the station to find the next train was cancelled...
Our coaches are just leaving the Amex. What a grim night!

Just when you think things can't get any worse, I feel very sorry for him, I would have left after I heard the team selection!! Must have been a train running between 19.45 and 21.25?? At least he was there to support FFC!!! I have shared the same disappointment many times with a very long journey home afterwards, at least Brighton is not too far away!

To make matters worse he only decided to go at 15:00 today. £30 + petrol well spent.
I really tried so hard to stay to the end but couldn't bear it when the 5th went in.. Lots of people around me left at 3-0 and about 55 minutes.
Listen lads, I've been stuck out in souless LA for the last 11 years. I'd swap my crappy weekend to have been there tonight. Even if we did get smashed up 5-0. You don't know what you have got until its gone.
I left 2 minutes in to stoppage time, first time I've ever left before the final whistle in 40 years, then faced road closures and diversions, a 70 mile each way journey took me 4 hours to get there and 2 1/2 home

ok..but isn't the weather great out there??
Cold and rain and a 5-0 drubbing here...
I was stuck there in the 1901 club lounge with my Brighton friends, I had to endure the man of the match presentation and then stuck on 2 trains full of singing Brighton fans. Plenty of depressed fulham supporters in the hospitality areas. Spoke to Brighton supporters who couldn't believe how easily we gave up, some even said Brighton were not very good tonight and i had to agree Fulham were just crap.
I think I put more effort going to the bar than Dembele did in the whole game.I would take the first offer of money for him and then run off into the sunset very quickly.

Easier than the giver receiver argument on Brighton pier. Poor do chaps.
Must admit I left early last night just after the 4th on 80 mins, went and got a hot chocolate and went to the coach, heard the fifth go in from there.
Nobody (or, at least, not me) would criticize those who left early.
I only hope they don't try to claim the FULL refund. (see 'Petition' thread elsewhere on this board.)
