Just been reading SuperMac and in it he reckons that Johhny Haynes and Les Barrett bullied and were responsible for Bobby Robson getting the sack from Fulham ;).He also reckons that Haynes was mostly to blame for MacDonald himself leaving .

Well, I would imagine the last part is correct, but would you trust a guy without any front teeth?
Blimey, that takes me back a bit......way back when (as I have mentioned before) my older brother (13 years my senior) was a mate of dear old Maurice Cook and I have distinct memories of him regaling a story from the inside of the club. Johnny Haynes was Mr Fulham so Supermacs story just may be right, as that was the gist of the tale at the time.
