That's two 5's and a four and some other good winners interspersed with occasional mediocrity.
I love the days like today don't get me wrong but a few more 2-1's in our favour and we'd be up there!
COYW
Because we have been doing it since the 1960s.... 092.gif
In my 1st game in 1954 we beat Doncaster Rovers 5-2. I am used to it.
Wait! You're complaining about our goal difference being too big? fp.gif
Ask Brighton supporters about the effect of goal difference. fp.gif fp.gif
Who cares why?Just savour and enjoy the moment.Hell we deserve it.
Just got in - absolutely brilliant performance
Personally I'd rather see some 5 (or, possibly 6) nils in between the 5 nils.
But I would like to congratulate the OP (one of the top experts in the genre) on constructing something of a moan within 20 minutes of the conclusion of such a sublime performance. 049:gif
I do find this type of post quite, quite astounding if I'm honest.
Inconsistent because we only have 2/3 of a team, that's why.
Next month Joka should be looking to beef up all in the attacking department to give them some competition and keep them on their toes.

If I've understood the OP correctly I think he has a point, a I've made a similar point on another thread.
We've just seen another top top performance that you can't criticise but we don't get any extra points for winning big. Had we squeezed wins out of the Brighton and Sheffield Wednesday games they'd have got us just as many points. And if you look at what we've done in the last three games, 1W 1D 1L, repeat that over a season you'll get about 60 pts and that's nowhere near good enough for the play-offs
So as I said on the other thread today's game will mean little or nothing if we don't follow it up with a couple more wins (not just good performances, wins) now because the next two fixtures are as winnable as they come
I think Sheffield Wednesday, Brighton, and a 5-win streak in form 3rd place constitute a difficult 3 games. 4 points isn't an awful haul from them, but you're correct about needing to follow it ip with 2 wins against Wolves and especially Rotherham.
I'll ignore Keynsham's ridiculous remark.
My point was simply we reach considerable high's then plummet to lows whereas somewhere down the middle with a bit more consistency would be more positive. As it happens our League position didn't change a jot .... but I'm not criticising what was a very fine performance. I stand by the original point.
from what i can gather, some of you seem to think that because we win a few games 5-0 every now and then, we should be winning every game? Teams like Brighton and Sheff Wed took all 3 points of us because they are better than us. Hence why we aren't and wont finish top. Sides like us win some, then lose some.

I think you will find Sheff Weds only took a point off us.
