Title: This might be useful to site techies and am I the only one.
Post by: Beamer on June 03, 2017, 09:02:57 AM
I had almost stopped using the site on my PC because of the slow response times although not a problem on my ipad. This morning I decided to try it again just to check and for some reason I had been logged out and was on as a guest. I didn't notice at first and was pleased that all the slow response problems had been resolved. I logged on as myself and all the old slow response problems were immediately apparent when I attempted to view a topic (it had logged me in without delay).
Thought this info may be useful. Has anyone else had the same experience.
Sorry if this is old news but I have rarely looked lately as it's almost impossible from my PC and let's be honest a pretty slow time of year unless you are fascinated in reading peoples thoughts on what we might or not do in the transfer window.

That took 20 secs + to post after I sent it which is about average for looking up pages etc.

I have found the new host much more responsive to all things.  It feels much better than before.
