This is a true story. Last week the prize specimen, the boss of my tropical fish tank, for reasons I can't explain, made a sudden rise for the top. So much so that he broke the surface, leapt out of the tank and plummeted to the floor below. When I found him the next day, let's just say mouth to gill resuscitation wasn't really going to be an option.
Why share this? His species. He was a Ram.
So now I'm wondering if this is a sign. A Fulham victory and I'm claiming it as an omen. In the opposite scenario clearly it's the fishes' retribution for not sticking a lid on the tank.
We bought him about the same time Slavisa was talking about train stations. Carborundum Jnr and I named the fish: "Chris Martin".
