The better teams have learnt why we always lost to the bad teams. Sit back, put all 11 men behind the ball and we won't break you down, for all the possession on the world. Then they will get us on the counter with a cross beating little Denis Odoi. Got lucky against Sunderland, Birmingham showed how to beat us and Derby copied the formula. I'm normally an optimistic lad but I can see it happening now. I hope I wrong.
I agree to a large extent. So, is it worth gambling on Monday night with a slight change of formation to give Derby something different to think about? How about playing 2 strikers? Give Mitro a partner (maybe Piazon or Kamara?) so that there's a player next to him to take advantage of his hold-up play?
i think ayite looked way short of match fitness and that didn't help us tonight. After his performance against sunderland it seems a little harsh AK didn't get the nod tonight if he wasn't going with piazon. i don't think 1-0 was a disaster and only risk is giving the ball away chasing the equaliser , if we score early i don't think derby have enough to turn it around .
