What are people's thoughts on Ayite's performances this season?
I've been impressed with him when he's come on as a sub recently. He has good pace, strength and is a workhorse. He holds the ball well and looks to move forward at most opportunities, suiting our system well.
He understands his defensive duties and I'd argue he'd prove good cover for whichever wing back he starts in front of - something we maybe need from both wingers while looking for our first clean sheet of the season. I'd like to see him given a start against bournemouth or huddersfield.
Both Ayite and Kabano are due a start in my opinion, Kabano definitely needs more game time

Neither of them are premier league quality, but yes let's give them a try, what do we have to lose? Maybe even think about AK given a workout, he must be sick of sitting in the bench and raring to go!
Ayite is the only defender we have that gives me any confidence that they can perform at PL level.
He anticipates threats and has the pace to perform at this level.
Not prem quality and why would we play him when we have 2 wingers that are in Vietto and Schurrle
Prem quality IMO
Does more than Schurrle off the ball but admittedly is some way behind him technically... Would rather have a fresh Ayite than what we get from Schurrle from 60 minutes onwards
As good or almost as good as Vietto technically, maybe slightly behind Vietto in pace but Ayite is miles ahead for finishing ability... Not much between those two IMO
Not prem quality? How do you know that until he's played consistently against other premiership sides to support this opinion?
He's performed well in each of the games he has come on, positively impacting our side and was a key impact sub in turning our performance around against Watford in that second half, especially.
With Cairney out, the 4-3-3 clearly doesnt work as well, so playing 4 in midfield with Vietto or Schurrle up top alongside mitrovic would mean he could play as well as Vietto and Schurrle, if one of them stayed on the wing and the other played alongside mitrovic up top.
Interesting how we now have plenty of cover for most positions but we are struggling for that top performance.
The big quality about Floyd is he never neglects his defensive side of the game, if the fullback bombs past him he covers. Something that Schurrle and Vietto never do. If we are looking to tighten up then I think Floyd is the man.
