Although not mathematically down, basically we are. I think it's time we just play the youngsters. Blood them in the best league in the world. They'll probably learn more in the last few games, than the entire season next year. Obviously keep a couple of the better senior players in the team, but what do we have to lose now?
I don't want to break Derby's record of the worst team in PL history. That's all I'm hoping for now. Not to be an utter embarrassment, remembered for years

It could do them more harm than good. I think some of our promising youngsters lost a lot of confidence, and their careers were adversely affected, because they were prematurely exposed to Championship football during that disastrous start to the season under Felix Magath, when physically they needed at least another year's growth.

Yeah, but he was a complete nut job. He probably had them running 100 miles a day with a small car on their back.
