I usually take a daily look at this board but I have never noticed any Leicester fans dropp8ng in to say how good he was for them and how sad it was to see him go. so I have to ask did they win the league because of him or inspire of him?
Right place, right time. It happens.
He must have done a lot right at Leicester to keep them going at the top of the table for a whole season but I guess he had the right players whereas with us he s trying his tactics with players signed with Jocanovic's football in mind.
Shame he didn't get hold of a reliable keeper in the winter window.
As said on Talksport just now, when he came to Leicester he pretty much did not Tinker at all, and just kept them playing the way they had been under Pearson.
Good point I thought, Leicester that season were incredibly settled as I remember it.
He had what turned out to be two outstanding midfielders in Kante and Mahrez, a Striker having a dream of a season in Vardy and a solid defence with what I think is still an underrated keeper in Schmeichel.
That, with good luck with injuries, and a "good time feel" along with weakened Big Teams around them gave them the opportunity, and they took it amazingly.
Pearson's team, coached by Shakespeare. CR was there to fulfil the requirement for an Italian/Spanish coach.

The fact that none of that team that was available opted to join in here in January might be a bit telling.
