David Wagner as favourite to replace him.
No thanx from me I'm afraid.
Hmmm....
Ranieri now gone from 4/6 this morning to be sacked, now 1/7...they know.
Think Parker will be caretaker first.
I have concerns over Wagner, mainly due to the way Huddersfield fell apart at the end of the season they went up. They were promoted in the most bizarre way, not scoring once in the playoffs. Could be wrong and he could be great - he definitely has a lot going for him too. Just something nagging me that he isn't the right man.
Re Wagner not for me either.
It might be time for a steady Eddy to take charge perhaps a Moyes type. With what's gone on since Slav left would be a brave call by club to go for an unknown or unproven considering the toxic situation currently at the club.
Scott Parker favourite 4/7

Exactly. And their current team, which is still his team, is one of the worst to have ever graced the Premier league
We are pretty much down now anyway so leave the team in the hands of Scott Parker. Work hard on recruiting a decent manager like Lee Johnson to start by the end of May and not leave it till a week before the start of the season.
Try and convince our best players that they have a future with Fulham and bring back a sense of positivity around the club
Parker as intrim to see how he does, shame Duff has gone to Celtic as he would have been a good addition how about Brede to com in as well??
Therein lies the rub. Frying pan into the fire springs to mind. Even if Ranieri is sacked, decent managers willing to manage a Championship side will be hard to come by. Ranieri is an international name (even if not an entirely successful one) and could attract the players we need in the summer. Newcastle stuck by Benitez and that has worked out mostly OK. I don't suppose NUFC fans were delighted that he was kept on after they were relegated but they came straight back...

Lee Johnson has not exactly set the World alight with his spells at Oldham, Barnsley & Bristol City. We must do better than him. No also to Alardyce, Moyes, Pulis & the other journeymen managers. Those 3 earn more in being paid off than they earned while managing.
I would be the first to admit that I thought Ranierri was a good appointment at the time. I thought he would be able to get the best out of the players he had.
What I didn't realize was that he was going to play a certain way and hoped the players would fit that system which clearly didn't work.
Benetiz on the other hand brought in players for the championship and understood what was required which is something I think CR will never understand.
How many Managers actually work out? Not a lot. There is an element of luck whether the Manager is experienced or new to management. Look at Bournemouth for example.

I think he got Oldham promoted when he was very young, left them in 9th in the league and took Bristol City to semi finals of EFL Cup. They are currently in play off positions so a move to us may be considered a downgrade at the moment.
Slava has entered the betting at 16/1 to re-join us.lol

TK needs to get on the phone, grovel, offer a five year contract with full autonomy over transfers, at whatever salary he wants, and full use of his LA mansion (including any-purpose-use of the hot tub) to get him back.
All will then be forgiven from me.
Don't think rich kids know how to grovel!
Personally I think wagner is a nice bloke but a bad error.
he did well at huddersfield but my instinct is not for us if we want to progress.

I think getting Slav back is fraught but a gamble I would take but will never happen for three reasons.
TK would be admitting error
Slav wants to much money (my assumption)
Slav wants a sensible transfer ploicy and not be messed about again (my assumption)
If we looking at a rebuilding project with young up and coming manager / coach how about taking a punt on the two Cowley brothers at Lincoln

Oh, I agree. There is absolutely zero chance it'll happen for all those reasons and more (not least that Slav strikes me as a proud and principled man and will be annoyed at them having attempted to make him a scapegoat and for the 'risk free' comments).
But a boy can dream...
Huddersfield got promoted with a negative GD, and scored 28 goals from 38 games last year.
No thanks.
Yeah I don't want Wagner
Spent the last few months scorning the Joka return posts but now would love to see a return to the Barca of the Championship- with a say in transfers.

Money talks - pay enough and most managers would be willing to manage a Championship side (it would be money well spent if it avoided paying £100 million for misfit players). There would also need to be a clear commitment to a plan to return to the Premier league (and be able to stay there) in a relatively short time: i.e."Ambition"! I hear that Mr Khan has deep pockets - time to spend some wisely. Al Fayed found Tigana, a name I had never heard, by consulting really knowledgeable football people, and then made him an offer he couldn't refuse. Oh Khan, go ye forth and do likewise.

I'd prefer for SK to do the business, in person, and when SJ mentions TK to him, he replies 'Who he?'

I thought that Ranieri with all his Italian contacts would have found us a centre back or a right back in the January window but nothing.
