Title: So Who Now?
Post by: South Coast White on February 28, 2019, 06:52:21 PM
As we are still in a position to survive, albeit most unlikely, What do the Club do now. Appoint a manager with PL pedigree, or take a punt from the championships best.
It's a difficult balance of risk taking, although we have just witnessed what risks can provide, we should be very cautious on the next permanent leader, Scott to end of season is one risk as he has nothing to loose realistically, but is this the right plan with relegation staring us in the face, with the very likely outcome of losing our quality players. Alternatively get good experience in from whoever is available and get the team believing and winning with the hope of keeping the squad together. Obviously we will need to ship out those who are clearly not good enough, we have all seen for ourselves we have a few of those and maybe we could keep the nucleus of our team together. It's a decition that will set the foundations for the next 2 years in my opinion.
