Fosu-Mensah? Why no chance for S Sess? And what has happened to Markovic?

Well, he's certainly ringing the changes. I'll be interested to see how the midfield 3 (TC, Seri & Anguissa) operate. I hope he knows something we haven't seen before.
Kmac on the bench in case we need to defend a lead!

Happy with central 3 getting a run out but to play two loans in defence who won't be around next year is a poor decision in my book.

Disappointed with the line up. Also too many changes made, and too soon. The Tinkerman Mk2? Perhaps Parker wants a mention in KMacs programme notes next week.

First match Odoi hasn't started in quite a while. Wonder if that's from Mitro's comments after Leicester. I think we'll see a good version of Chambers at CB as I'm sure his confidence has soared from being a regular starter. Fosu-Mensah gets his shot again, which is definitely exciting, hopefully he can prove he's more than the sum of his past - guess that goes with a lot of the players in the squad. Lastly, congrats to Ayite after a solid performance at Leicester City - well rewarded. He's going to need to stand out incredibly though because it has to validate dropping Sess if Sess comes in as a sub and plays even remotely well.

No need for any validation in dropping Sess required, he has been awful this season. As for Fosu Mensah, what is the point of playing him, give 1 of the youngsters a game after all they will be at Fulham next season TFM won't be!! Will we ever get another manager who has a clue about team selection? Heavy defeat today!!

Right, it shouldn't be a surprise because Parker said he wasn't ready yet for this match, but has started low level training after recovering from the virus.

Tempted to play 18 today, Dave. Tiger's about to tee off too! Golf season is right around the corner from this frigid winter...maybe.

Sure, sure, but it's no question we've been wanting him to start consistently regardless - plenty of examples under Ranieri's reign. In addition, Sess played good against Chelsea, just bad against Leicester. It happens.

I'm fine with Parker's selection. Not a fan of TFM, but I do appreciate his humility in apologizing to us fans and said he'll do his best. Let's just see what happens.

At this point, being wrong or right doesn't matter, it's just about showing heart and some positivity on the pitch. Maybe points will come of it, maybe not.

Isn't Steven Sessegnon a Liverpool fan? He wasnt even born last time they won the title, don't give him the job of denying them.

Same argument would say, starting against Man City would be playing for Fulham survival and Liverpool title at the same time.

Good luck with the golf, my form lately has been worse than FFC, I know that will take some believing.

Don't know about playing will probably be more like a training session on how to try and get hold of the football!

Leaving aside Mawson (injured), Sessegnon (lacking confidence) and Schurrle (can't be arsed playing anymore)... this is probably our best XI on paper and the team we intended to play this year

I agree with others that it's too late now, and there's not much point playing loanees, but I'm not going to be critical because I suspect if we'd persisted with this team and the likes of TFM, Chambers (at CB) and Anguissa in October, they'd have improved

If nothing else, getting Anguissa, Seri and Cairney playing together to the best of their abilities would be a huge achievement because that midfield would look like the Harlem Globetrotters compared to McDonald and Johansen IMO (to repeat, that *IF* playing to the best of their abilities)

I don't know if this is supposed to be a joke, but otherwise it is quite a dig at Steven Sess' character and professionalism.
