I came across this photo, on Twitter from FootballRetroPlus @robertmdaws and wondered if anyone can tell me what colour the shirt stripes are?

Grey & white

I was 15 at the time but my two guesses would be a. That it was just a change strip , or b. They had rushed out of bed for the photo call!

Would buy that retro strip in a heartbeat.

would have thought red

I thought it was a light blue from conversations with dad a long while back, but I weren't born until '59

In the photograph the stripes look grey, but they are actually Red as some of you have already identified.

I was going to guess red...

First game in 1956 ...... don't remember that shirt though,..    what did I have for tea????
