What a great start to his tenure at Watford. Having looked like complete no hopers, they're now 3 up against Villla while down to ten men.
Great result for Watford and it draws Villa down into a relegation place--- Ah.
It goes to show that a good English manager is as good as any over seas manager

Works for me! Just listening to Smith whingeing about the decisions during the match on Sky!

Nope. It simply shows that Pearson has had a good start with Watford. Nothing more, nothing less.

I personally just think it shows how a decent manager can have a positive impact on a talented set of players. I know Pearson is a bit out there and weird but he has pretty much always been a positive on teams. Not everyone's cup of tea mind, but I think hes a good manager all things said. I also thought Watford have a squad of players who shouldn't be in bottom 3 and should possibly climb out.

Sure, that may be the case, but the sample size here is very small. Agree about the squad.

Yeh, true. Have to wait and see I guess. Could just be the new manager immediate positive results and a few games down the line, business as usual. For us next season, if we're in championship, I'd like to avoid Watford personally....
Troy Deeney returning is also a huge positive.
He built that team that Tinkerman won title with.

Deeney said since Pearson came in he has made players believe in themselves.

Yes think Deeney has been massively missed.
