Onomah playing on the wing then I guess.
I can see Stansfield coming on and scoring the winner.
Knockeart?
Kongo Lo must have impressed. If we win with that lineup- great.
Cavaleiro is the outlet, but we are doing to have to rely on Bryan providing the crosses and service.
Bryan wing? If so who's fullback? Onomah surely not mobile enough to be out wide. Be interested to see how we line up.
I don't see a plan b on the bench. I'd be looking to bring in a striker even on loan as right now we are very short

I think Mac will sit deep in front of Hector and Ream with Bryan and Dennis pushing on and providing width.

Yes it is cause for concern, and that is why if things don't go according to plan, they may throw on Stansfield to score the winner.
4-4-2 with Reid and Cavaleiro upfront
Take a draw now with that weakened team
What on earth is the formation? If they're going to put an odd lineup like that out they can at least post it in the formation it's going to be played in.

Looking at the whole squad that is available tonight, there is a plan A and a B and even
a C, but he may
not need to use all 3.

They've players out as well,Taylor back but just on bench.
I'm guessing it's the same formation as against Boro, with Reid taking Knockaert's place on the wing and Onomah playing as the false nine.

Knockeart?
Took a nasty knock late in the game against Boro, must be injured.
Interesting to see how we line up with four midfielders named , are we going 4-4-2 or is onama playing wide.

Kamara is getting close to fitness according to Parker, he should be ready before we could get a new man up and running.
If we are losing with ten minutes to go bring Kongolo on as striker, that may take Charlton by surprise.

I still believe our players are far above Charlton's, even with a few out. Would never take a draw against a bottom half team beforehand. We will not lose because we don't have sufficient talent on the pitch against this lot.

It is a new EFL regulation that the team sheet has to be published in squad number order first

If that is the case then it is ridiculous. Why not Christie to rb, odoi left, Bryan lwb
Maybe a 4-2-3-1. Really curious to see Arter and McDonald play together as they usually sub for each other. Cairney hugged the right side quite a bit last match, and Onomah is more box-to-box than him. Really curious what we set up with, but here's my best guess - which may be way off.
Rodak
Odoi Hector Ream Bryan
McDonald Arter
Cairney Onomah Cavaleiro
Reid

Agree with this, that would make sense.
Are they deliberately putting up the line ups in shirt number order so the opposition can't tell what formation we're playing?
Because it certainly confuses me! :023:

You say "if the club is to be believed" as if it's implausible that Parker and the players might not want our tactics broadcast to the opposition an hour before kick off...

The club never mentioned Parker, just the players. Which is why I'm sceptical
Plenty of zip in the first half but few shots, even OFF target. Must shoot more second half to get a result. Home side playing like the away side looking for a draw!

If you are going on the FST minutes it says "the first team" and I don't think it unreasonable to assume that includes the first team coaching staff
