Title: Old Sod's Army-One who is worried
Post by: bog on December 16, 2020, 09:21:00 AM
There is no doubt that in the last three games we are much improved and v Liverpool quite brilliant. 4 points from 9 was an excellent return. Now we play a side just above us. I am an old sod who has seen many times when a justified optimism has seen us fall flat in the next game. V Leicester Brighton had two clear openings before the Foxes went ahead. This is not an easy game and I am too long in what are left of my teeth so am not treating it as such. However COYW!  :clap_hands: :yay: 049:gif

I am of the same feeling Bog.
So often have we had good spells over a difficult programme and then disappointed at a game that should have been routine.
Tonight's game is important, win and we are out of the relegation zone, lose and we are adrift .
Going into the game we have tings in our favour, A great performance in out last game, no injuries, we are playing at home, Lawro has predicted our defeat (that really is a plus) and Brighton are struggling.

It is a big game and I will be relieved to see us a goal or two in the lead.
