another championship season under Parker.
It was absolute dross and we escaped through the playoffs having played a season of hard to beat football.
It wouldn't matter what league or who the personnel is. His DNA is don't lose ...
As hard as it is let's look for an attacking philosophy and find a different manager for the rebuild.
:plus one:
I'm happy to see what he can do with Maja in the team but I am of the opinion that this team has plenty enough talent in it to stay up if managed correctly. So if we go down I wouldnt be displeased with a change of manager.
Our attacking shape has been thoroughly underwhelming under Scott since the beginning.
We have improved since the start of the season with the new players that came in. Can't really start blaming Parker unless I thought some new manager would change things tactically. We played well recently without getting the results but as expected we have lost a bit of form in this and the second half of the West Brom game. Would a new manager make a difference? Not convinced but I imagine that decisions will be made soon if they are going to be made at all.
Get Parker out and let's go for it, let's not go down with a whimper
My mind has already shifted to the Championship next year. We should be much better than when we came up with Robinson, Tete, Cav, Reid n Reed, Mitro, Tosin, and Anguissa, taking they are and will remain on the books. AND we will FINALLY be able to get rid of RLC.
It would be great to keep a few others, but imagine they will be on their way.
Can't blame Parker too much. He can do better, but not that much better.
He's put all his effort into defending, that's fair enough because we were letting in goals for fun.
Trouble is, now we have a team that's tighter but its also a team that's main function is only to defend and attacking the opposition is generally only intermittent.
Add in the fact that there's only one player in the club who is comfortable in front of goal (and he's off form anyway) and a decent final ball is a rarity.
I can never accept coming away from the Cottage without seeinf a Fulham goal and but for Covid I would have done that a few times this season. Furthermore it looks as if today will not be the last.
